Dear CaptureSG members and visitors,

First of all, I must apology for the inaccessible time to CaptureSG.com since 21st January 2008.

Our server database was corrupted on the morning of 21st January 2008. I have a full backup of CaptureSG.com that I did on 20th Jan 2008. When I realize the HDD corruption, immediately I send a support ticket to the server provider, requesting for new HDD replacement and mount the old HDD as secondary drive.

I was able to restore some of my sites on 22n January 2008, however CaptureSG.com was a bit tragic. The database table of CaptureSG.com was corrupted together with the HDD, and the backup that I have on 20th Jan 2008 has corrupted tables in the database.

Olympus has announced a series of firmware update to their DSLRs, including the old E-1 DSLR. The firmware update focusing accuracy with EC-20 teleconverter in all the listed models and improved Image Stabilization at slower shutter speeds for E-510 DSLR. Adobe has released updates for many of its imaging software packages. Photoshop and Bridge CS3 receive bug fixes whilst Camera Raw 4.3 offers support for Canon's sRAW format and EOS-1DS Mark III as well as Nikon's latest D3 and D300 DSLRs and the Olympus E3.

    Cosina New Voigtlander SL II Lenses!

    Dear EOS-1D Mark III user,

    We noticed that there is an issue with the mirror for auto focusing (AF) in some units of the EOS-1D Mark III. When using AI servo continuous shooting especially in high temperatures, we experienced that the focus is not stable or that the AF tracking is not accurate.

    The affected units can be identified from the serial number found at the bottom of the camera (see image below). Some cameras between the serial numbers 501001 and 546561 could experience this...
